Borås Tidning has invested significant resources in investigative journalism in recent years.

Three people in the editorial team work full-time with "gräv" (investigative journalism), but they often collaborate with journalists from our other editorial teams. This investment has yielded results: we have been nominated for the prestigious Guldspaden award for our investigations five years in a row (including one win), and we repeatedly see how important investigative journalism is for our subscribers. Borås Tidning places great value on investigative content, which is a core part of the newspaper's journalism.

Our current investigative chief is moving on to new challenges, and we are now looking for someone to take over and lead the successful investigative team into the future.

Who are you?

You are passionate about investigative journalism and have the ambition to deliver investigations that make a significant impact in the local community. You prioritize and lead our competent investigative reporters, but you are also operational and often a reporter in the projects we choose to undertake. You want to take new approaches and develop storytelling forms for investigative journalism, with the ambition to reach even more – especially younger – subscribers.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented experience in leading investigative journalistic work
• Excellent journalistic judgment
• A humble approach and the ability to develop your team members

The position involves managerial responsibility for two team members in the investigative team, and you will be part of the editorial management. Start date later this spring.
